Prelude, Fugue & Epilogue for solo piano was written as a fiftieth birthday present for my wonderful friend and colleague Simon Over. I converted his name into pitches and then used the result as the basic material for this large, three-section work. The central fugue definitely has echoes of the work of Kenneth Leighton, whose music I admire intensely but which is far, far better than mine, while the epilogue dwells on a plainchant melody that the inquisitive might recognise.

As is nearly always the case with my scores, this music is free to download and distribute and all the information you need is in the copyright notice.
